Hey I-90 - just using every means necessary to let our ever-growing church community know that our summer service schedule starts THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 17TH with ONE SERVICE AT 9:30AM. In keeping with the local school schedules and summer vacation season the leadership team decided to go to one service for the summer and split the difference between our two normal times of 9 & 10:15am. Our two-service schedule will resume Sunday, Sept. 9th.
And in addition to a different service time, with the summer also comes our summer teaching series which we kicked off last week and I'm very excited to tell you about right here. It's called "How Now Shall We Live?" and it's a journey through what is probably Jesus' most famous and most lengthy (at least in terms of what we have recored on paper) message he ever gave - the "sermon on the mount." It's utterly practical, provocative, counter-cultural and life-changing all at the same time. And it truly does answer the question for every person who puts their trust in Jesus, "How now shall I live?"
Hope to see you this summer - 9:30am every Sunday between now and labor day weekend - as we take a journey through the sermon on the mount.
